A flow of water, even in small quantities, drives the drive piston, which in turn drives the metering piston. The metering piston takes in the care product and pumps it into the water in the line. The injected product is always dosed in proportion to the volume of water regardless of fluctuations in throughput or pressure.  This system prevents materials being wasted as is often caused by manual pre-mixing.
